Gentle Watercolor
for Hand Mobility & Fine Motor Skills
A weekly, guided watercolor class for adults and seniors working on fine motor skills, coordination, and hand mobility — designed to be enjoyable, calming, and confidence-building.
$100 per month of weekly classes
Traditional movement exercises can feel discouraging or monotonous — especially for older adults.
Rehabilitation works best when it’s:
Consistent
Low-stress
Enjoyable enough to stick with
And, watercolor painting naturally encourages:
Gentle hand and finger movement
Wrist control and coordination
Focus and mental engagement
Emotional uplift and motivation
All while creating something beautiful.
What Makes This Different From a Typical Art Class
This is not a fast-paced or technique-heavy art course.
Each session is intentionally designed to:
Move slowly and predictably
Reduce cognitive overload
Encourage repetition through creativity
Allow participants to work at their own pace
End with a finished painting or completed exercise
There is no pressure to “be good at art.”
The goal is movement, engagement, and confidence — not perfection.
Ideal For Adults and Seniors Who Are:
Recovering from injury, surgery, or illness
Experiencing stiffness, reduced dexterity, or coordination challenges
Participating in occupational or physical therapy and need additional gentle movement
Struggling to stay motivated with traditional exercises
New to art and hesitant to try something unfamiliar
This class works alongside rehabilitation — not in place of it.
